ELLINGSON, Anita – of Davison, age 84, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service, with military honors, will be held 2 PM Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Davison VFW Post, 8031 E. Court St, Davison, MI 48423.
Anita was born in Lewiston, Maine on June 6, 1937, daughter of the late Fernand and Liane (Levesque) Audette. She married Barney Ellingson and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2019, after 63 years of marriage. Anita proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy. She enjoyed buying and selling antiques and playing cards.
Anita is survived by her son, Barney F. Ellingson; 4 daughters, Dawn and Glen LeBeau of Goodrich, Laurie and Steve Metar of Davison, Michelle and Denny Dowdall of Flint and Valerie and Kevin Wilkins of Flushing, 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Hank (Nancy) Audette and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Audette.
