SPILLERS, Rodney Lee - Age 59, of Linden, died Sunday, July 9. 2017. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 14, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 PM and 1:00 PM Friday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Rodney Spillers Memorial Fund, c/o the family.
Rodney was born August 26, 1957 in Flint, the son of Herman and Laura (Young) Spillers. He was a 1975 graduate of Lake Fenton High School. He married Kimberly Ann Nyman May 31, 1980 in Fenton.
Surviving are: his wife, Kimberly; daughters, Amy Spillers of Westland and Melissa Spillers of Novi; grandchildren, Hailey, Tyler, Maliya, Caius, and Kian; mother, Laura Spillers of Linden; brothers, Deri (Linda) Spillers of Leonard, Dale Spillers of Fenton, and Doug Spillers of Alborn, MN; sister, Jan (Larry) Hulverson of Millington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Spillers; brother, Jeff Spillers; mother-in-law, Yvonne Nyman; and nephew, Anthony Ireland. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
