STOKOSZYNSKI, Edna Louise, of Flint Township, age 90, Died Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the Hope United Methodist Church, G-4467 Beecher Road, Flint Township, Pastor Gregory Timmons officiating. Private interment will be at Flint Memorial Park. Mrs. Stokoszynski will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may visit 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. Monday, January 5, 2026, and at Hope United Methodist Church where friends may visit from Noon until the time of services Tuesday, January 6.
Edna was born August 22, 1935 in Flint, the daughter of Howard and Alma (Sigmund) Gere. She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: son, James (Christie) Stokoszynski; daughter, Ellen Skaggs; grandchildren, Melissa Bosworth, Tara (Gerald) Provost, Dustin (Skye) Skaggs, Chelsea (Mark) Holt, and Paige Skaggs; great grandchildren, Alissa Bosworth, Austin March, Michael Skaggs, Katelynn Skaggs, Makayla Bosworth, Joseph Provost, Jaden Turner, Abigail Provost, Dustin Skaggs, Jr., Lilian Provost, Colton Smith, Aspen Hinkle-Skaggs, and Morgan Holt; great great grandchildren, Wylder Skaggs, and Vayda Riggs; brothers-in-law, Richard Stokoszynski, and Florian (Irene) Stokoszynski; and sisters-in-law, Joann (Hank) Yenna, and Joyce Stokoszynski.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael, daughter-in-law Laura, sisters, Hazel (Louis) Stokoszynski, and Gertrude Gere, brothers-in-law, Andrew (Margaret) Stokoszynski, and Stanley Stokoszynski, and sisters-in-law, Fern Stokoszynski, and Delores Gerzeski. |
