COUTURE, Marion Louise – Of Burton, age 91, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026 at The Pines of Burton.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Reverend Harold K. Polk Jr. officiating.
Visitation 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Oakhill Cemetery in Ortonville, Michigan.
Marion was born in Goodrich, Michigan on September 2, 1935, the daughter of the late Clarence and Etta (Hudson) Walter. She married Richard Couture in 1950, and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2018. Marion was a cook at Goodrich Schools. Marion was a member of The Eastern Star. She loved the family get togethers at the lake in Hale, Michigan.
Surviving are children, Randall (Carol) and Gerald (Violet);
grandchildren, Nicholas, Nicole, Matthew, Courtney, Caitlin, Anthony, Christopher, Jake, Alex, Travis, Crystal, Michelle, Kyle and Lauren;
and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Deborah Brady and Rebecca Sad and granddaughter, Jennifer Couture.
