Vance- Picard, Gale – of Birch Run, age 65, died Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Covenant Healthcare of Saginaw. Funeral services will be at 1PM on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 11AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.
Gale was born February 11, 1957, in Flint, Michigan to the late Robert "Buck" and Barbara (Blandford) Picard. She attended Mt. Morris High school, graduating with the class of 1975. Gale married the love of her life Carl Vance on August 28, 1999. She was a bartender for The Eagles in Clio, branch 3609 for 20 plus years. Before that she worked at Pine Run as a bartender. Gale was an avid member of the Eagles Club. One thing that Gale was very proud of was recently being baptized. Gale enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and singing. She was an Indian educator at Mt. Morris High school. Above all her kids were her world. If you knew Gale you knew she had a contagious smile, was always happy and bubbly. She was the life of the party.
Surviving are: children: Rhonda Vance, Crystal Long, and Greg (Heather) Long; 8 grandchildren: Toni, Dominick, Greg, Josie, Abigale, Celina, and Milliano; sister, Diana Picard-Nelson; her loving dog, Princess. She is preceded in passing by her loving husband and best friend, Carl Vance; sister, Vickie Lee; and brother, Ron Bassage.
