Ammons, Alexander Paul (“Alex”) age 20, of Clio, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022. Alex was born April 12, 2001, in Arkhangelsk, Russia and officially became part of the Ammons family on March 18, 2003. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Friday, April 15, 2022, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio. Proceeds will be donated to the Clio High School Marching Band program as well as an award created in his honor.
He was a graduate of Clio Area High School, where he was actively involved in marching band, Link Crew, and National Honor Society. He worked at Bureau Veritas in Auburn Hills as a technician, a hands-on job, which he enjoyed very much. Alex loved the beach and visited it often, including the longstanding tradition of going on vacation with family to Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina. There, Alex loved spending time playing games, talking to relatives, enjoying the sun, and playing in the waves. Alex could walk into a room full of complete strangers and leave with many new friends, as he oftentimes did. He had the innate ability to make everyone feel special and will be forever remembered for his kind heart.
Alex is survived by his loving parents, Bruce, and Carrie; siblings, Sydney, and Ben; grandparents Dick and Kathleen Ammons, Art Logan, and Kathy Jacob; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Please sign our guestbook or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
