DUTRIZAC, Genevieve M. – Of Burton, age 83, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her residence surrounded by family.
Visitation 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Burial to follow in Crestwood Cemetery.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Jenny was born in Flint, Michigan on May 24, 1937, the daughter of the late Leonard and Lagora Dyson. Jenny’s main focus was raising her children and taking care of family, but she was also very involved in the community. She owned and operated Family Sport Storage, alongside husband Ray, for 42 years. Jenny and Ray dedicated 25 years working for the Auto City Speedway. She was a proud member of the Buick Club and greatly enjoyed being involved in the car show environment. She loved spending every summer at Higgin’s Lake and being in Florida for the winter. Jenny also loved casino trips, playing euchre and shopping. Most of all, she adored her great-grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Douglas Dutrizac and Delynn Erdman;
grandchildren, Nate (Jami Perry) Erdman, Tony (Erin) Erdman, Eric (Julie) Erdman, Kurt Dutrizac and Kyle Dutrizac;
great-grandchildren, Jadine and Jase Erdman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dutrizac; daughter, Denise Dutrizac and son-in-law, Sonny Erdman.
