Robert “Bob” Wayne Farmer
Age 74
Bob Farmer was born on November 23, 1950, in Flint, Michigan, to George and Thelma Farmer, alongside his four brothers, Michael, Carl, Jimmy, and Wayne.
Bob served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He retired from General Motors after 42 years of dedicated service. Bob shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Yolanda (Lopez) Farmer. He was a devoted father to Fred, Lisa, and Tammy, and a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
He loved spending time with family and friends. Whether Up North, out deer hunting, on the golf course, or gathered together sharing stories and laughter.
Surrounded by those he loved, he passed peacefully with the blessed assurance of his salvation and confidence in his heavenly home.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda; his son, Fred (Noelle) Lee; and daughters, Lisa Reid, and Tammy (John) Smith. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jordan Hartwell, Jacob Lasley, Alexis Lee, Jared Lee, David Farmer, Matthew Farmer, Dulcinea Elizondo, Adam Smith, and Joel Smith, and by two great-granddaughters, Rosalina Lee and Emma Hartwell; and numerous extended family members.
Bob leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and wisdom that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. We love you, forever in our hearts.
