WHISNANT, Ronald Sr. – of Burton, age 64, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery, 3415 Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439; Pastor Ronald Hughey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in Ron’s memory.
Ron was born in Flint, MI on December 28, 1955, son of the late Paul and Jewell (Garrison) Whisnant. He retired from General Motors. Ron enjoyed riding his Harley and walking around the neighborhood with his buddy, but most of all he loved being with his family, friends and his pets.
Ron is survived by 2 children, Ronald (Melissa) Whisnant, Jr. and Brandie (Eugene) King-Schmitt; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Whisnant and Don Whisnant; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Whisnant; parents, Paul and Jewell Whisnant; son, Nathan Whisnant; 2 brothers, Fred Whisnant and Kenneth Whisnant.
