BLACK, Michael John - Age 75, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021. A graveside service will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly.
Michael was born July 23, 1946 in Flint, the son of Don and Gwendolyn (Nesmith) Black. He was a 1964 graduate of Mt. Morris High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Navy. He had resided in Argentine Township for the past 2 years coming from Swartz Creek. Michael retired from General Motors. He had attended Glad Tiding Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God. He enjoyed building model planes and watching action films and westerns.
Surviving are: his sons, Micah Black of Swartz Creek and Jeremiah Black (Felicia Grant) of Swartz Creek; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Patty (Mike) Cargill of Atlas and Renee (Bill) Moore of Millington; brother, Jon (Jamlyn) Bothorel of Fenton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
