BADGERO, David Eugene – of Warren, formerly of Birch Run, died July 19, 2026 at Henry Ford Hospital in Warren, Michigan surrounded by his family. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 24, 2026 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Gary Loudermilk officiating. Entombment in Oakwood Cemetery in Saginaw, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Charity of Choice.
David was born November 28, 1956 in Gary, Indiana to the late Alva and Rosalie (Zbyrowski) Badgero. He grew up in Coleman, Michigan and graduated from Coleman High School with the class of 1974. On July 12, 1980 he married his best friend and love of his life Barbara Harmeier. She preceded him in death on October 22, 2016. David worked with his parents and brother at the family businesses in his early days at Northern Lanes. In 1986 he started working in traffic control and retired in 2019.
Surviving are: Daughters, Victoria (Jeff) Boillat of Birch Run, Betty Jo (Frank) Cogswell of Six Lakes; Grandchildren, Kimberlee Boillat, Jeffery Boillat, Jamie Boillat, Jacob Boillat; many nieces and nephews.
