Dumont, Joe Stanton - Age 71, of Flint, died May 17, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 20 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday May 19; and 10 - 11 AM Friday May 20. Those desiring may make contributions to Humane Society of Genesee County. Joe was born March 17, 1951 in Flint, the son of Douglas and Barbara (Hendrick) Dumont. He married Marcella Woodbeck on April 8, 1989. His fondest memories of growing up were teenage years in Mt. Pleasant. Joe retired from The City of Flint from the forestry department in 1994 as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed motorcycles and camping with family. Joe is survived by his wife, Marcella; 2 daughters, Dana (Kristy) Dumont of Dimondale, Jodi (Kelly) Saunders of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Grace, Andrew, and Layla; his pets, Ginger and Patches; niece, Kerri (Norm) Haack; nephew, Tim Romancky; many great nieces and nephews.
