Dabbs, Mr. Michael Preston age 60 of Flint, MI passed away December 23, 2020 at McLaren Hospital, Flint. Funeral service will be held 6pm, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. Family will receive visitors from 10 am, Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home. Per COVID protocol, only immediate family members for the 6pm service please. MASKS MUST BE WORN. Cremation to follow. Mr. Dabbs was born April 21, 1960 in Flint, MI, the youngest of Eugene Preston and Lottie Mae Fisher-Dabbs. Michael was joined in marriage for 22 years to the love of his life, Sonja Dabbs and the proud parents of 2 sons, Eugene and Michael, 1 daughter Crystal Hoosier. Michael was a loving and dedicated husband and father. He enjoyed working on cars, small engines, spending time and fishing with family and friends; Michael was loved by many. He attended Northwestern High School and he was employed for many years by Urgent Design as a Tool and Dye Setter. Michael is survived by his wife Sonja Dabbs of 22 years, celebrating their anniversary November 12, 2020, sons Eugene P. and Michael J. P. Dabbs, daughter Crystal Hoosier, brothers Gene (Vanessa) Renfro, Patrick (Michelle) Dabbs, grandchildren Awtyumnn Lottie Mai Dabbs, Larryona Patilla, Mya Presley Aaliya Presley, ex-wife Kimberly Hoosier. Special thanks to all our family and friends, brother Patrick Dabbs, Antonio Ramirez, McLaren Hospital, Fresenius Kidney Care and all the staff, Tomicka Holland and Jonne Burns. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Lottie (Fisher) Dabbs, brother Lester Thomas and mother-in-law Carolyn Cowley.
