Britton, Jeffrey Todd - of Burt, passed away suddenly at his residence. He was 56 years old.
Jeff was born on May 1, 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan to Donald and Rebekah (Kaufman) Britton. Jeff became a truck driver in 1990 and retired with FedEx Freight after having over 20 years of service. Jeff enjoyed playing golf, fishing with his friend Bill Smith, and spending time with his family and friends. Though his time on Earth ended too soon, Jeff lived life. He would make sure to tell everyone that you only have one time here.
Jeff leaves behind a daughter, Tasha Britton of Mt. Pleasant and a son, Jackson Britton of Charlotte; Mother, Rebekah Britton of Flint; Siblings: Tammy (Gary) Niarhos of Wilson, Kimberlee Britton of Burt, Scott Britton of Flint, Angela (Spencer) Nebel of Newport Oregon; Several nieces and nephews; along with many dear friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Donald Britton in 2015 and his youngest sister, Kathie Lynn Britton in 1969.
Plans for a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Those desiring to make a contribution in honor of Jeff are asked to consider The Jack Britton Scholarship Fund or Flint Junior Golf Association.
