WALLS, Charles M. – of Burton, MI, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at his home. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Davison Missionary Church, 1481 N. Gale Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Josh Combs officiating. Interment will take place following the service at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM – 2 PM & 4-8 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday at Davison Missionary Church
Charles was born in Earling, WV on August 26, 1944, son of the late Virgil and Lucille (Stallard) Walls. He married Julie Bishop on September 24, 1966. Charles retired from General Motors in 2009 after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Charles was active in BSF and his church. Charles was a family man and truly cherished his time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all.
Charles is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Charles (Tracy) Walls II, Kathy (Kevin Armstrong) Walls, Jeff (Rachel) Walls, Becky (Phil) Eldred and Joe (Kristi Crawley) Walls; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Jeanette) Walls; sister, Sharon Owen; sister-in-law, Linda Walls; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by brother, Frank Walls.
