Morrish, Michael William of Flint, age 69, died Friday, December 6, 2024, at his home. Per his wishes, his body has been donated to the Willed Body Program through Michigan State University. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Whaley Children’s Center or the American Lung Association.
Michael was born in Flint, Michigan on June 22, 1955, the son of Irving William and Joyce Electa (Porritt) Morrish. He married Wendy Rice on May 15, 1975, in Oak Harbor in Whidby Island, Washington. Michael was a voracious reader. He loved spending time outdoors and camping and adored his dogs. Michael was a beloved Pappa and a dedicated family man.
Michael is survived by his wife of 49 years, Wendy; children, Melanie and husband Rich Lacina, Joshua Morrish, Drew Morrish; grandchildren, Xaden and Brenden Lacina, Amalia Morrish; brother, Ron Morrish; and sister, Deb Morrish; and beloved dogs, Trooper, Scrufford, and Ace. He was preceded in death by his parents and his dear friend, Steve Hill.
