Marie Janet Ellen Tilley of Davison, age 84, died Tuesday April 29, 2025 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A elebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Marie’s memory to Genesee County Humane Society.
Marie was born in Houghton Michigan on January 5, 1941 the daughter of the late Wilho and Ruth (Souvie)Kehus, and has resided in the Davison area since 1960. She was joined in marriage to Roger Tilley on November 26, 1960 in Davison, and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2015. Marie enjoyed her many years of traveling and camping with her husband Roger. She always found quite time to devote to a good book, and had a passion for gardening. Marie loved watching all types of sports but was a true “Die Hard Fan” of the Detroit Lions. The most important and Marie’s greatest love was family and especially her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves to her memory children: Roger “RJ” and wife Karen Tilley, Christine and husband Jeff Robere, and Lori and husband Gordon Cook. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren: Erika, Kevin, Brandi, Seth, Katrina, James, Ashley, Kory, and great grandchildren: Chelsea, Emma, Olivia, Anika, James “JJ”, Myles, Maya, Haidynn, Ryker, Ray, Adriana, and Sawyer. She also leaves a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by grandchildren; Patrick, Faith, Jason, and her brother Richard Kehus.
