Mary Ann Pleshakov, matriarch, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many passed away peacefully in her home, Tuesday, June 15, 2021. She was born December 7, 1936 in Flint, MI to the late Vito and Dorothy (Ferrara) Farella. Mary Ann was pure sunshine and the ever optimist that brought joy to every one she touched. She enjoyed her family, gardening, cooking, and was an accomplished pianist and singer. Mary Ann was a lifelong Catholic and member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek, MI.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Kristian, sons Michael (wife Cheryl), Donald, James (wife Tina), and daughter Suzanne Burke (husband Lance) along with eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother Mike, and sisters Antoinette and Gloria. She is preceded in death by her son Kris Jr. She will be missed but never forgotten!
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM, Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 21 from 1 PM to 8 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Monday at the funeral home. On Tuesday morning June 22 Mary will be taken to church to lie in state from 10 AM until the time of Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.
