DOYLE, Linda J. – of Flint, age 74, passed away August 24, 2014 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Chaplain Hank J. Messing officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Tuesday and 10-11 AM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Linda was born in Flint, MI on December 14, 1939, daughter of the late Floyd and Evelyn (Sandel) Dickenson. She was a member of the Flint F.O.E. #629. Linda enjoyed playing cards, spending time up north with family and spending time with her friends at Bois Blanc Island. She worked at General Motors for 30 years.
Linda is survived by her children, Mike, Mark (Mary Catherine), Dyan (Andy) Robinson; grandchildren, Tonya, Scottie, Seth, Ethan, Cameron; great-grandchildren, Kristi, Kegan, Kolin; sisters, Lois Cavaness, Kathy Escue; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Scotty; brother, Gary Dickenson; brother-in-law, Gary Escue.
