BURGHARDT, Judith D. - of Flint, died Sunday, November 15, 2020 at McLaren Flint. Honoring her wishes, cremations has taken place and services will be announced later. lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Stroke Association.
Judy was born April 28, 1935 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Oscar and Florence (Krieswiser) Burghardt. She grew up in Grand Banc and has resided in Flint the last 19 years. She attended Grand Blanc High School and graduated with the Class of 1953. She worked as a bookkeeper at Greeley’s Inc, Danny Paris Appliance and retired from Ed Cumings, Inc. in 1999. She was member of the American Business Women’s Association. Judy enjoyed working puzzles and taking trips around the state to various casinos.
Surviving are: Brother, Fred (Clara) Burghardt; Nephews: Greg (Betty) Burghardt, Jason Burghardt, Kevin Pleming, Kirk Tillman; Niece: Becky (Floyd) Myers and very dear friend Jane Lunkas. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Florence, sisters Ruth Pleming, Pat Cornell, Olive Cottrell and nephews Vince Tillman and Dennis Cornell. Her wish was to Thank Dr. Sahouri and his staff for their care and to my best friend and caregiver, Janie, thanks for being there for me.
