Link, Dallas Dean of Flushing, age 89, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2016, at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Saturday, 2-8 p.m. Sunday, and 12-1 p.m. Monday before the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or The American Stroke Foundation.
Dallas was born in Flint, Michigan, on April 15, 1926, the son of William and Gwendolin (Cramer) Link. He married Becky Wylie on Treasure Island, Florida, on March 12, 1997. Dallas enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and collecting guns. He loved traveling with Becky in their motor home throughout Michigan. Dallas worked at Buick and McNallys as a car salesman. He loved cars, driving, and traveling. Dallas enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially Vic Giacalone. He was very kind, generous and had a goofy sense of humor.
Dallas is survived by his wife, Becky; cousins, Diane Fischer, Kelly Fischer, Pierre Cramer; close friends, Phill (Deby) Decker, Vic Giacalone, Tony Morningstar; compassionate and faithful caretakers, Julie, Sue, Tara; many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. |
