DIKOS, Michelle M. – of Flint, age 50, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday, October 21, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Michael Graham officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Michelle was born October 1, 1974, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Jerome Dikos and Judy VanHouten. She graduated from Kearsley High School with the class of 1992. Michelle went on to earn her master’s degree in health services from Central Michigan University in 1999. For a decade, she served as a Work-Fit Trainer at General Motors, where she dedicated herself to helping employees with physical therapy. Since 2010, she brought her expertise to Universal Lift, working in shipping, receiving, and dispatch. She was a faithful member of the East Flint Church of the Nazarene. Michelle enjoyed reading a good book, gardening, traveling, and crafting. A devoted animal lover, she opened her heart and home to many rescue dogs throughout her life. Michelle had a remarkable gift for connecting with others; she never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her warmth, kindness, and friendly spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
