Passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at her home, with family by her side; age 54 years. Jacqueline Harcek was born on August 6, 1967, in Flint, MI to Robert and the late Kathryn Harcek. Jacqueline was married to Ken Treib on May 9, 1992, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Jackie was a devout Catholic, a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, a dedicated wife and homemaker, and she loved her children. Jacqueline was a talented crafter, she loved quilting, baking, decorating, card making, rosary making, crocheting and jewelry making.
Surviving besides her husband Ken are daughter Samantha Treib; son Joshua Treib; father Robert Harcek; brothers Robert Jr. (Shirley) Harcek, David (Kelli) Harcek, and Shannon (Amanda) Harcek; sister Kathryn (James) Bronson; sisters-in-law Laurie (Paul) Schiefer and Dana (Ralph) Leyva; father and mother-in-law Kenneth and Jill Treib and many nieces and nephews.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her mother Kathryn Harcek.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate with burial in Blessed Trinity Cemetery. Jackie’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a Prayer Service on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church or the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
