OSIKA, Patrick -- Age 67, of Flint Township, died March 17, 2022. Funeral Services will be held 12 PM Wednesday March 23, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6273 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Nathan Brown and Pastor Chris Yager officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park, Mt Morris. Visitation will be 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, and 11AM until time of service Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Living Hope Baptist Mission, Meridian MS.
Patrick was born June 15, 1954 in Gary, Indiana the son of Walter and Margaret (Harlock) Osika. He married Mary Diana Lynn on July 28, 1973 in Flint. He worked as a Project Manager in Computer Technology for many years until retirement and was loved and valued by all of his customers. He loved trains, history and books, and was an avid player of board games. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and a Sunday school teacher for many years. Pat was always active in his children's lives, and sports activities where he was fondly known of as "Coach". He especially loved his girls and his grandkids. Pat was a friend to all. He was the connector of the family.
He is survived by: his wife of 48 years, Mary; children, Diana "Dee Dee"(Chris) Yager of Meridian, Mississippi, Daniel (Autumn) Osika of Flint Township, Seth (Bobbi Anne) Osika of Swartz Creek, Stephen (Christina) Osika of Flint; grandchildren, Charity, Samuel (Carolyn), Charissa, Berlin, Titus and Gentry; siblings, Dion (Teri), Judy, Linda, Susan, Deborah, Elizabeth “Lilly” (Gary), David (Mary), Cindy, Anthony "Charlie" (Christina), Laura "Tuttie" (Allen); many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Samuel Isaac Osika. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
