Constance L. “Connie” Lambert of Davison formerly of Columbiaville, age 87, died Friday September 2, 2022 at Charter Senior Living, Davison. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday September 8, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church 706 W. Flint St. Davison. Pastor Todd Frusti officiating: with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 4-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home, and Connie will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contribution in her memory to the Leukemia Foundation.
Connie was born in Flint Michigan on January 16, 1935 the daughter of the late Bennie & Ella (Maior) Rodery and had resided in the Columbiaville area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Dale N. Lambert on June 26, 1954 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Davison and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2016. Connie was a graduate of Columbiaville High School Class of 1953. She enjoyed the outdoors from spending time gardening to her numerous camping trips. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time watching their many sporting events and school activities. She did enjoy her quite time reading in her later years. Connie was a lady of faith and was a former member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Otisville and presently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Davison. She owned and operated with her husband Dale, Lambert’s IGA in Columbiaville until their retirement.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters; Liana and husband Bob Burns, Lynette and husband Troy Shannon and son-in-law Glenn Mudd. She also leaves her loving grandchildren: Brett (Melissa) Church, Robert (Lisa) Burns, Stacey (Jason) Eldred, Taylor (Jonah) Wright, Joshua (Samantha) Burns, Jason (Aurelia) Burns, Ellie (Julie) Shannon, Evan (Elly) Mudd, Brady (fiancée Samantha) Mudd, Keaton Mudd, and her eighteen great grandchildren. Also surviving is brother Philip (Joann) Rodery, special niece Nadine Cook, and a host of extended family and friends. Connie is preceded in death by her daughters: Sally Mudd, Laura Pratt, and twin great granddaughters. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net |
