Kay "Joe" J. Curran age 89 of Flint, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 12:00 AM at Dom Polski of Flint. Arrangements are being handled by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel.
Kay Joseph Curran was born October 14, 1933 in Flint, MI a son of Delvin Curran and Leona Newcomb. He served in the United States Army as Military Police during the Korean War. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, reading, playing jazz music and was also a life member of the Dom Polski of Flint. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for the City of Flint as a meter reader for 41 years.
Joe is survived by his children, Cheryl (Rocco) Miceli, Gardner (Cristiana) Cole, Scott (Dana) Hilgendorf, Jason Curran and Joel Curran; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and brother, Al (Lori) Perry. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Curran; brother, Cass Curran; and sister, Mary Irving.
