BEEBE, Beverly Janis (Hawley) – of Davison, MI, age 92, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Monday, June 9, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Interment immediately following the service in Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 1-7 PM Sunday, June 8, 2025 and 11 AM-12 PM Monday, June 9, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association, in Beverly’s memory.
Beverly was born in Flint, MI on November 29, 1932, daughter of the late Carold and Erma (Stoddard) Hawley. On January 19, 1952, Beverly married the love of her life, Gerald “Jerry” Beebe. Their enduring partnership spanned 70 beautiful years, filled with laughter, travels, shared passions, and unwavering support. Jerry preceded her in death on August 26, 2022, and their bond remains a testament to a life well-lived together. Beverly dedicated 33 years of loyal service to AC Spark Plug, retiring in 1985. She was a proud member of UAW Local #651 and found joy and purpose in her work and the friendships she formed there. A woman of many talents and deep faith, Beverly was a life member of the Davison VFW Post #4087 Ladies Auxiliary, a joyful participant in the Red Hat Society, and an active member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene. She and Jerry shared a love for square dancing as members of the Square Dance Motivators, spreading cheer and fellowship with every step. Beverly had a creative soul—she especially enjoyed painting the beautiful, handcrafted wood furniture built by her husband, bringing his work to life with her artistic touch. She cherished traveling with friends, finding adventure and delight in new places, but her greatest joy came from time spent with her family. Her warmth, wisdom, and laughter will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her life was a shining example of kindness, faith, and enduring love.
Beverly is survived by 4 children, Greg Beebe, Cherie (Chris) Daly, Debbie Richards and David (Paula) Beebe; 7 grandchildren, Nicole Daly, Ryan (Angie) Richards, Christopher Daly, Ian (Amanda) Richards, Cody Beebe, Cory Beebe and Annette (Robert) Edwards; 6 great-grandchildren, Kamrin, Mason, Brooklyn, Raegan, Connor and Isaiah; many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carold and Erma Hawley; husband, Gerald “Jerry” Beebe; sister, Evelyn McLarty and daughter-in-law, Debi Beebe.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the caretakers of Charter Senior Living and AdvisaCare Home Health and Hospice for the exceptional kindness, professionalism, and compassionate care they provided to Beverly. Their support brought great comfort during her final journey, and their dedication will always be remembered with sincere appreciation.
