McARTHUR, Barbara Jean (Ellsworth) – of Davison, MI, age 85, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1PM Friday, June 4, 2021 at Davison Missionary Church, 1481 N. Gale Rd., Davison, MI 48423. The family will receive visitors from 11AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Creative Learning Center at Davison Missionary Church, in Barbara’s memory.
Barbara was born in Flint, MI on July 7, 1935, daughter of the late Alethea Payne and Bernard Ellsworth. She married Earl McArthur on July 14, 1995 in Davison, Michigan. Barbara enjoyed shopping with her daughters and granddaughters, interior decorating, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Earl McArthur; their blended family, Terri (Ty) Eickhoff, Kimberly (Jody) Salgado, Carmen Kirkpatrick, Kara (Chris) Cox, David (Jen) McArthur; grandchildren, Dan (Julie) Eickhoff, Aaron (Amy) Eickhoff, Torey, Keaton and Jace Salgado, Denee (Michael) Moon, Denise (Todd) Hall, Eric (Mitch) Kirkpatrick, Lisa (Jim) Reed, Cody (Molly), Rylie, Cal and Ellen Cox, and Dillon McArthur; great grandchildren, Megan, Ethan, Nick, Emily, Lauren, Allison, Andrew Eickhoff, Chase, Brittany and Colleen Moon, Wesley Cox, along with 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family, dear friends and her four legged baby, Lovey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alethea Payne, her two sisters, Thelma Thompson, and Ellen McArthur, her daughter Rene Lynn Depottey, and her late husband Joe Gonzales.
