Martin Ray Hayden, of Flint, Michigan, passed away at his home on December 11, 2020 at 65 years of age.
Beloved husband of Janine (nee Baxter) of Flint; adored father of Alicia (Justin) Handlin of Millington, and Olivia (Steven) Kern of Grass Lake; dear brother of Pam (David) Braden of Flushing, Craig (Carol) Hayden of Fenton, and Gary (Sue) Hayden of Fenton; uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and many beloved pets.
Martin was born on July 29, 1955 in Flint, Michigan to Warren and Marie (nee Crafts) Hayden. He graduated Fenton High School in 1974. Martin and Janine were married on May 4, 1985. He was a manager of Burger King for decades, was an avid and talented guitarist, and a gifted artist whose style was very unique. He loved his dogs and "grand dogs" and spoiled them with lots of people food.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family kindly requests that memorial contributions many be made in Martin's honor to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
