TIMER, Frank E. – Of Burton, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at his son’s house in Union, South Carolina.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Deacon Omar Odette officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 1 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Timer was born in Beards Folk, W.Va., January 21, 1938, the last surviving son of Frank and Tressa Bogo Timer. He was a retired maintenance man with the Carman-Ainsworth School District in Flint, MI. Mr. Timer enjoyed operating radio-controlled airplanes and restoring classic old cars. He had a lifelong love of motorcycles.
He leaves behind his son, Danny (Beth) Timer; with whom he had made his home for the last few months;
daughter-in-law, Mel Timer;
nieces and nephews, Randy (Rennie) Butcher, Tressa (Paul) Myers, Teresa (Gary) Carley; Ted (Shirley) Schramm, Sue Schramm and many great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Timer was preceded in death by his son, Michael Timer; sister and brothers, Mary Schramm, Alec Butcher, John Butcher and Joe Somoskey; nephew, Denny Schramm and niece, Nancy Schramm.
