RAGNONE, Fulvio E. - Age 91, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. ( A live stream of the Mass will be available on Fulvio's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.) Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Entombment in the Mausoleum at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Friday from 3-5 and 6-8 PM and Saturday at church from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Swartz Creek Community Food Basket, Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties, or Masses.
Fulvio was born September 22, 1930 in Raiano, Italy, the son of Marziano and Domenica (Zitella) Ragnone. He immigrated to the United States in 1947. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. Fulvio married Aurelia Montini June 6, 1964 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Flint. He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1979 coming from Flint. He was a brick layer for Union Local 2 for 40 years, and took great pride in his craft. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, being outside and most of all spending time with his family.
Surviving are: his wife of 57 years, Aurelia; daughter, Domenica Ragnone of Swartz Creek; son, Rocco (Shelley) Ragnone of Brighton; grandson, William Ragnone of Menominee. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Peter (Mary) Ragnone and Dante (Catherine) Ragnone; and brother-in-law, Pietro Montini. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
