Fredrick Douglas Elliott
Age 75 of Owosso passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at Oliver Woods Retirement Village.
Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, September 25, 2023 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Walter officiating and military honors will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm.
Fredrick was born January 23, 1948 in Albany, the son of Robert and Mary (Ferguson) Elliott.
He graduated from Mt Pleasant High School, class of 1966 and proudly served in the United States Army in Germany during the Vietnam Era.
Fredrick was a member of the Mid Michigan Old Gas Tractor Association and loved camping and boating.
Fredrick was an over-the-road car hauler semi driver; hauling cars for General Motors and Ford.
Fredrick is survived by his daughter Amy (Paul) Constine; son Marc Elliott; longtime girlfriend Judy Gravilla; granddaughters McKenzie (Trevor) Langdon, Kylee (Justin) Van Buren, Dakota Hart (Hunter Piper) and Courtney Constine (Jordan Shattuck); grandsons Justin (Ilaria) Constine, Matt Larsen, Kevin Larsen, Marc Hile and Kristie Elliott; great-grandson Ashton; brothers Jeff Elliott and Mike (Kim) Elliott; sister Ann Elliott; other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Richard and Lee, foster parents Dorothy and Albert Wilson.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Shiawassee Family YMCA.
