David D. Callahan, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his residence.
He was born to the late Harry Callahan and Sylvia (Pettit) Ward in Flint, Michigan on March 13, 1934.
David married Suzanne Earnhart. On January 9, 1997 in Antigua.
Mr. Callahan worked as a Sales Manager for Murray Equipment in Fort Wayne for 23 years.
David dearly loved his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling the world, Pheasant hunting in South Dakota with his friends, and he especially loved his home and many dear friends in Antigua.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; children, Larry (Sandy) Callahan, Dan (Cindy) Callahan and Keri (Phil) Jacobs; sister, Jill Goodemoot; brother, Dallas Callahan; daughter-in-law, Karen Callahan; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death was a son, Michael Callahan.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 611 West Berry Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Calling will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 from 3 PM to 7 PM at D.O. McComb and Son’s Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Burial will follow the service at Cleveland Township Cemetery in South Whitley.
