LAUER, Michael Craig - age 73, of Fenton, died September 17, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Jose Melero officiating. Visitation will be held 2-5 and 6-8 PM Tuesday and 11 AM - 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Future Farmers of America (www.ffa.org). Michael was born April 16, 1949 in Flint, the son of Donald and Charlotte (Moore) Lauer. He married Lynne Huff on August 30, 1969. He worked for Poppy & Lauer and then Mid State Equipment selling John Deere Equipment his entire life. Mike enjoyed fishing and watching his children and grandchildren playing sports. Surviving are: wife, Lynne; children, Chris (Vickie) Lauer, Jenn (Bill) Melton, Becky Lauer (Mike Gramza), and Tony (Angie) Lauer; grandchildren, Tyler Lauer, Tori (Chris) Root, Tessa Lauer, Dominic Melton, Alexis (Christa) Melton, Keinen, and Miles Melton, Kolten Lauer and Kennadee Robinson, Mikie and Elizabeth Gramza; special cousins, Terry Kimmel, Donnie Jo (Rick) Halfman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Steve and Pat Murphy, Gary and Jane Adams, Mike and Lois Huff, Dan and Lana Bentley; many nieces and nephews.
