ALEXANDER, Suzanne Irene - Age 90, of Flushing, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (The service will be lived stream and can be viewed via the link on Mrs. Alexander's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 12 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesee County Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
Suzanne was born February 16, 1934 in Edmore, the daughter of Russell George and Irene Leone (Camp) Kersey. She was a 1952 graduate of Flint Northern High School. She married Russell W. Alexander January 3, 1974 in Swartz Creek and he preceded her in death January 27, 2000. She had resided in Flushing for the past 29 years. Suzanne was employed by GM for 13 years in the Accounts Payable Department. She enjoyed reading, playing Euchre and doing Jigsaw Puzzles.
Surviving are: her children, Darryl (Cheryl) Barnhart of Swartz Creek, Stephanie (Ken) Konsza of Fenton, Renee' Markva of Flushing, Michael Alexander of Fenton, Amy Jo (James) Dockery of Flushing and Shelley (Doug) Fulton of Fenton; 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Donna (Gordon) Freeman of Owosso and Janet (Merle) Allen of Corunna.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Irene Kersey; and great granddaughter, Ava Kluck. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
