Helen W. Adams of Davison, age 94, died Saturday December 17, 2022, peacefully in her sleep at Pineridge Assisted Living. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm Thursday December 29, 2022 at Hansen Funeral Home groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Private burial will be held at Davison Cemetery on the family plot. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Helen’s memory to the Lions Club.
Helen was born in Flint Michigan on February 1, 1928 the daughter of the late Frank and Donna (Caldwell) Stockton and has resided in Davison her entire life. She married Michael “Mike” Adams on January 5, 1963, and he preceded her in death on November 28, 2014. Helen enjoyed being out doors and spending time in her flowers and gardens, and was a great collector of antiques. Her love of music and singing was a true passion. Her greatest love was spending time with family especially her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1947. She had been employed at the former Harpham Ladies Fashion Shop and was very proud of being the first appointed Matron Police Officer for the City of Davison.
Surviving is daughter, Linda and husband Larry Miller, daughter-in-law Jan Hudson, and step-children: Cathy and husband Howard Pratt, Sue and husband Gary Adkins, and Beth and husband Ron Struck. She also leaves her loving grandchildren: Amy Hudson, Mark Hudson, Lisa Montpas, Jeff and wife Tiffany Miller, Lesley and husband Pete Gadioli, and her twelve great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son David Hudson, and grandson Eric Hudson. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
