BURKE, Doloros G. – Of Grand Blanc, age 86, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 South Ballenger Highway, Flint,
Jeffrey B. Walsh, Pastor officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mrs. Burke will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
Doloros was born in Flint, Michigan on September 7, 1928, daughter of the late Raymond and Mae Humphrey and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life.
She was a lifelong member of Redeemer Lutheran. She volunteered with the Action Cancer Team and served as President at Hurley Medical Center.
First and foremost, she enjoyed her friends and family.
Surviving are son, Craig A. (Dedra K.) Burke of Petoskey;
granddaughter, Katharyn Burke (Noah Fettig);
sister, Lavee (Robert) Gagnon;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald R.; son, Raymond Burke; three brothers, Raymond, Jim and Jerry.
