Todd Strong, of Flushing, age 52, died on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at his home in Flushing, Michigan. A memorial service will take place 3 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Rossell Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Todd was born on July 8th, 1969 in Flint Michigan, the son of Paul and Carol Hergott Strong. Todd graduated from Flushing High School in 1987 where he played Varsity Hockey. He went on to graduate from Mott Community College. He followed his mother’s calling in healthcare and became a certified Respiratory Therapist for McLaren Hospital. In parallel to his passion for healthcare he managed a 32 year career at Dort Financial Credit Union. Starting as a teller, he went on to manage many different branches in the Flint area. He was an avid outdoorsman and truly cherished his time with friends and family outside in nature.
Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Strong, and father, Paul Strong. He is survived by his brothers, Scott (Monique) Strong and Sean (Kristen) Strong; his father's wife, Bente Strong; Bente’s children, David (Cheryl) Niegarth, Susan (Paul) Stravato, Melissa (Casey) Killingbeck, Ann (Tom) Woldt; and many adored nieces and nephews. |
