SKIDMORE, Robert C. – of Mt. Morris, age 85, died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery will take place at a later date. Contributions may be made to Reverence Hospice. Bob was born July 27, 1930 in Flint to the late Maynard and Dorothy (Wirsing) Skidmore. He lived in the Flint area his entire life. He married Mary Fodera on May 24, 1952. She preceded him in death on June 25, 2015. Mr. Skidmore retired from Fisher Body Grand Blanc in 1987 with 37 years seniority. He enjoyed hunting and going to his cabin. Surviving are: Sons: Robert J. Skidmore (companion Janis Darling) of Clio, Rocky Skidmore (companion Ann Roettger) of Birch Run; Daughter-in-law, Carmen Skidmore of Ortonville; 4 Grandchildren: Megan, Craig, Holly and Heather; 3 Great Grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Fran (Walter) Chojnowski of PA; nieces and nephews.
