MONTGOMERY, Nora L. - Of Linden, age 82, died Sunday, November 27, 2022 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Raymond Bennett officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8pm Thursday and 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Nora was born in Leachville, Arkansas on February 14, 1940, the daughter of the late Lester and Lemma (Owens) Lewis. She loved music and enjoyed singing gospel music and playing various instruments. She played the piano in church and belonged to a band. Nora also enjoyed walking, fishing and softball.
Surviving are children, Michael and wife Pamela Montgomery of Grand Blanc, Elizabeth Shafer of Swartz Creek and Mary and husband Mike Smith of Swartz Creek;
grandchildren, Jason, James and wife Candi, Trenda, Tonya, Nicole, Bryce, Matthew and wife Erica, Kendra and husband Ray, Krista, Amanda and husband Nate, Craig and wife Heidi, and Phillip and wife Robin;
several great-grandchildren;
brother, Jimmy Lewis and wife Pat;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Earl Montgomery and Ken Anderson, daughter, Joyce and brothers, Larry Lewis, Leon Lewis and David Lewis.
