Brett Springsteen, passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 1st, 2021 at the young age of 41. Brett was born in Flint on April 16, 1980 to Nancy and Dan Springsteen. He graduated from LakeVille High School in 1998. On August 23, 2003, Brett married the love of his life, Katie. Together the two of them had 3 beautiful kids, Elizabeth, Parker, and Loryn. Brett was a devoted son, father, and husband as well as an avid hunter. He enjoyed spending time with Parker in the woods, spending his weekends at the bowling alley watching Elizabeth, and spending time with Loryn at home. Everyone knew Loryn was Brett’s favorite. He also enjoyed going camping and traveling. Brett would do anything for his family and friends, especially his best friend, Chris Martin (Marty). Brett always looked forward to his family parties, where he got to see his favorite aunt and uncle, Karen and Larry Betz. Brett leaves behind a beautiful family full of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brett enjoyed life and he lived it to its fullest. Brett was proceeded in death by his sister, Danyale on August 18, 2012. As well as his grandparents, Wayne and Edith Springsteen and Vern and Marie McQueen and step grandfather, Verne Griffin. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00pm on December 7th, 2021 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville, Michigan, with Pastor Bruce Malicoat officiating Visitation will take place from 1:00pm-3:00pm and 5:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, December 6, 2021 and from 11 until his service at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brett’s family. |
