MORALES, Martin – of Burton, MI, age 69, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Friday, September 22, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Ernesto M. Alaniz officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Thursday, September 21, 2023 and 11 AM-12 PM Friday, September 22, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home.
Martin was born in Yale, MI on March 29, 1954, son of the late Henry and Estella (Torrez) Morales. He was a graduate of Kearsley High School Class of 1974. In 1990, Martin entered a loving union with Carolyn Dice, who sadly preceded him in death on August 25, 1995. Martin dedicated more than 30 years of his life to General Motors, where he forged a successful career until his well-deserved retirement in 2009. He had a zest for life that was infectious. Martin had a deep passion for classic rock music, finding solace in the melodies that resonated with his soul. Fishing was another great love of his, and he cherished the moments spent by the water, connecting with nature. Martin had a discerning palate and took immense pleasure in savoring a wide variety of foods. However, Martin's greatest love was reserved for his family and friends. He was a pillar of support and a source of laughter, always ready to share a joke or a heartwarming story. His zest for life and magnetic personality drew people towards him, and he formed lasting bonds that will be cherished forever. Martin Morales was a man who loved life to the fullest and had a deep respect for women, treating them with kindness and admiration. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Martin will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Martin is survived by 4 children, John (Shannon), Martin (Nicole), Tara and Eric; 10 grandchildren, Ian, Maya, Cade, Landon, Jacquelyn, Benjamin, Glory, Bella, Jeremiah and Kian; 5 siblings, Rick (Estella), Sylvia (Joe), Celia (Terry), David and Daniel; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Estella Morales; spouse, Carolyn Morales.
