BARBER, Adreon E. "Ernie" - age 79, of Gaines, formerly of Fenton, died December 5, 2021. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-7 PM Wednesday and 12 PM - 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnels to Towers, 2361 Hyland Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306 (www.t2t.org). Ernie was born June 25, 1942 in Flint, the son of Raymond E. and Freda (Johnston) Barber. He married Jeannine Langdon on August 11, 1963. Ernie retired from General Motors. He loved bowling, playing poker with the guys, but he especially, loved his grandchildren. Surviving are: wife, Jean of Gaines; son, Michael Barber and wife, Debbie and her son, David; daughter, Dianne and husband, Joe Humpert of Gaines; three grandchildren, Arianna Barber, Jordan and Jacob Humpert; sister, Linda Barber of Clio; many nieces and nephews.
