Adams, Salvatore R. of Flushing, age 76, died on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, as a result of an auto accident. In accordance with Sal’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private interment will be a Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Salvatore was born in Flint, Michigan on November 11, 1945, the son of Joseph and Rosalie (Johnson) Adams. Sal graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1963, attending Ferris State College and University of Wisconsin Madison Graduate School of Banking. He was employed at Citizen’s Bank for 34 years, retiring as Vice President in Branch Administration.
Sal enjoyed motorcycles and going to flat track races. He had many friends in the motorcycle community. Sal also loved going to Las Vegas and Little River Casino, especially if Lady Luck was on his side. He loved his family and friends and was very proud of his Sicilian heritage.
Sal and his partner in life’s journey, Lee Ann Marx, enjoyed 45 wonderful years together. He also leaves his beloved children, daughter, Marisa R. (Brad Weitman) Adamo, and son, Salvatore V. (Julie Hurst) Adams; grandson, Salvatore A.J. (Jackie) Adams; great-granddaughter, Evelyn Grace Adams; aunts, Carmelina Adamo, Rose Marchisano; many cousins; dear friends, Brian Beck, Jack Belzer, Chuck Heyer, Al LaBerge; and many other dear friends and family.
