Randall Todd Tyrrell, 60, of Bath, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 after a hard fought battle with Multiple Sclerosis. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 2:00pm-4:00pm & 6:00pm-8:00pm at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel, 501 N. Saginaw St. Durand.
Randall was born on August 19, 1961, at the family home in Perry, Michigan to Kenneth and Kaye Francis (Fox) Sulkowski later adopted by Joeseph (Bruce) Tyrrell. He graduated from Durand High School in the class of 1979 and spent his life in various transportation jobs, working for Loomis, Matrix, Indian Trails, and Abhe & Svoboda. On September 28, 1985, Randall married Deidra Ellen Mars and together they raised two children and spent 36 wonderful years together. Randall loved anything to do with cars; he loved going to car shows, he owned over 60 cars in his lifetime, he and a friend made a hydrogen cell that he ran his car on for two years. He loved to buy, sell, and trade anything he could. He was a truly kind and genuine man; he loved to laugh and was always giving back in any way he could. He was a member of the Durand Church of God; he served on their board and supported the Youth Group for years.
Randall is survived by his wife and best friend of 36 years, Deidra, their children, Mikenzie Labrecque, and Michael Spaleny, grandchildren; Michelle Spaleny, Samuel Spaleny, Jade Labrecque, Tobias Labrecque, and great-granddaughter, Aleah Reece. His parents, Bruce and Kaye Tyrrell, his sister, Sherri Farrer. His nieces and nephews; Darrell Sulkowski, Kenneth Sulkowski, Nicole Baker, Kristle Yetter, Sarah Bowie, Kyle Mars, Bailey Jenkinson, Morgan Mars, Blake Mars, and many great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Sulkowski and brother Michael Sulkowski.
