Elsie was born in Flint, Michigan on February 3, 1947, the daughter of Dale and Rosalie (Backus) Richer.
Elsie worked at Troy Cleaners for many years.
Surviving are sisters, Mildred Rickman and Neva Montney;
brothers, Dale and Harvey;
aunt, Myrtle Snow.
