DONNELLY, Kenneth Michael “Uncle Kenny” – Of Grand Blanc, age 85, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Heritage Baptist Church, 5199 East Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Pastor Chip Collins officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mr. Donnelly will be at the church 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.
Kenneth was born on February 15, 1937 at his home on Vernon Avenue in Flint, the son of the late William and Loretta (Latulippe) Donnelly.
Ken married Terry Lewis on October 5, 1984.
Ken retired from Dupont after 35 ½ years of service.
He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Ken’s favorite pastime was golf! He had 3 holes-in-one, of which he was very proud. He loved all sports, especially the Detroit Red Wings!
He loved his animals, especially his two cats, Joan and Spice. He loved to feed the raccoons, squirrels, deer and anything else that showed up.
Ken is survived by his wife, Terry;
daughters, Kim (Tony) Bonacci, Michelle Donnelly, Andrea Donnelly and Amy (Brian) Broker;
sons, Michael (Sherrie) Donnelly, Timothy (Alicia) Donnelly, “4th son”, Mark Barnes;
7 grandchildren, Alexis, Kylie, Taylor, Timmy, Darren, Jade and Mya;
8 great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Roman, Ricky, Paul, Elliott, Calvin, Sebastian and Sage;
mother of his children, Rosemary (Ivansco) Donnelly;
sister; Sharon (Rich) Schlegelmilch;
brother, Terrance Donnelly;
brother-in-law, Jim, MD (Sue) Orosz;
sisters-in-law, Kim (Mike) McCreedy, Amber (Rick) Moore;
also survived by many nieces, nephews and all his special golfing friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Patrick Donnelly; sisters, Jacqueline (Mack) Sinnott and Patty Havichek.
