LAURETO, Jack A. – of Swartz Creek, MI, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment in Great Lakes National Cemetery on a later date.
Jack was born in Flint, MI on July 27, 1949, son of the late John and Helen (Kaczmarek) Laureto. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School Class of 1967. Jack was drafted into the U.S. Army in April 1969 and proudly served his country in Vietnam. He was wounded in action in June 1970 and received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his actions. His hobbies included collecting and working on automobiles.
Jack is survived by brother, Chuck Laureto; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Laureto; 2 brothers, Ron Laureto and Stan Laureto; 4 sisters, Marjorie Laureto, Helen Mosley, Virginia Cassady and Judy Laureto.
