NICKERSON, Aaron W. “Airhead”– of Flint, age 52, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor James Gosnel officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 1PM until 6PM, and on Saturday from 11AM until the time of service at 2PM.
Aaron was born July 14, 1969, in Reed City, Michigan, to Forest and Doris (Caltrider) Nickerson. He was the lead singer for the band Bad Influence and enjoyed rocking out. Aaron also enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and tinkering on cars. He was there for every event, continuously smiling, and was there for everyone whenever needed, he was the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. Aaron was always loving and loyal to his friends and family, he loved spending time with them, especially his two grandchildren who affectionately called him “Papa”.
Surviving are: Siblings: Rick (Ruth) Snyder, Allen (Sandy) Snyder, Greg (Terilynn) Nickerson, Teresa Snyder, Jeanie Schneider, Pat Nickerson, Janis Wooley, and Joyce Nickerson; Children: Haley (Jory) LaValley, Kelsey Irland-Wright, and Kyle Irland; Grandchildren: Kayla and Killian; Mother, Doris Nickerson; Former wife, Pamela Nickerson; Special friends: the Baker, Goold, and Saunders families; Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and dear friends. Aaron was preceded in death by: Father, Forest Nickerson; Siblings: Al Nickerson, Larry Nickerson, Dave Nickerson, Vivian Nickerson, Samson Nickerson, and Judy Nickerson.
