MANDEVILLE, Donald Clark - Of Mikado, MI, formerly of Flint, age 80, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at Genesys Convalescent Center.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, April 29, 2014
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Genesys Convalescent Center.
Visitation 11am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donald was born in Yale, MI on January 9, 1934, to Delmer and Marie (Kingsland) Mandeville. On July 22, 1961, he married Patricia Barr in Flint, MI. Mr. Mandeville served four years in the United States Army and was a long time member of the Free and Accepted Masons. He retired from General Motors, Flint Metal Fabricating in 1990 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, spending time in northern Michigan and watching the Detroit Red Wings. Donald was a loving father, grandfather and husband of 53 years to Patricia.
Surviving are wife, Patricia;
children, Donald D. (Cindi) Mandeville of Linden, MI, Terry (Dan) Sorys of Holly, MI, Jon (Danyel) Mandeville of Newaygo, MI and Gary (Lisa) Mandeville of Oscoda, MI;
15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren;
sister, Ella Bush of Durand; brother, Lavern Mandeville of Brown City, MI and many nieces and nephews.
